Congratulations to Bay Shore finishers. (Bonnie)
• None present.
Healthy Kids wrap-up (Bonnie)
• Record attendance – 350 kids
KAR/BCRR logo (Phil/General Board Discussion)
• Drop BCRR - unanimous
• Keep BCRR as a sub-group
• We don’t have to change corporate charter
• Go with new logo, use block letters spelled out below the sun/runner.
• Hard to Identify the “K” when using the runner as a “K”
• Go with lighter blue and gold for color
• When using black and white version the sun is not colored in.
• Use color version for certificates
Website updates (Phil)
• Tabled till next meeting – Phil had to go
KAR/BCRR Apparel (Tim)
• Tabled – Tim did not show
KAR/BCRR Table at Klassic (Phyllis)
• Vicky to meet Phyllis on the 11th to get her 5k speed training flyers
• Phyllis will get small prizes at $ Tree and some that Cristi has left over
• Cristi to email Phyllis roster
• Phyllis to have envelope for money at table as well
• Giti will come to help, Bonnie will do tear down.
August member reception (Phyllis)
• August 5th at Borgess – 5:30-9
• Bring a friend and beech party theme
• Vicky to provide raffles (sunscreen, beech towels etc. $40 budget)
• Bonnie to bring ice tea
• Giti to donate cups

Safari Update (Vicky)
• Russ Lardi will be doing the weekly communication, I will forward to yahoo group
• Birthdates are not on registration form – Bonnie to request info in the run-down and send info to Cristi

• Figuring to bring in about $1500 from Safari and 2,000 from Klassic less insurance

Club Championship Series (Giti)
• Phyllis to look into making center piece with testimonials from runners and other organizations that benefit from our runs
• Approximately 80 people
• Plan for October 21 or 28 prefer 28
• Need podium, mike, projector, lap top
• Giti to provide estimate for desserts at next meeting
• $600 budget
• Drinks to be purchased through country club, Giti to get price
• Bonnie to email winners and pull photos
• Steve Brown to provide photos from Klassic
• Cristi to do power point presentation and man Power Point as well
• Bonnie to order duffle bags for award

Beyond training wrap up (Bonnie)

• Most valuable part long runs 73%
• 0% heard about the program from the YMCA or Gazelle
• Just under 100 participants

• Peggy raised $5,600 for relay for life and $390 for Race for the Cure
Potential Y Partnership on Kids Program (Bonnie)

MPI Research Health Fair – Give-a-ways (Bonnie)
• Need items to hand out – about 50
• Giti to check with Luna and get back with Vicky who will follow up if needed
